Gasthaus Ahorn in Titisee-Neustadt

We finally found a restaurant again where you go out and think it was really delicious. The vegetarian dish, kohlrabi schnitzel, was also very fine. We haven't had in a long time. And the atmosphere in the new Kuhstallstüble is also very cozy. We'll definitely be back. The area is also great for hiking or just walking. Often with a magnificent view of the Alps.

We visited the Gasthaus Ahorn yesterday for the first time and we are thrilled. The inn is very charmingly furnished in the Black Forest style and is idyllically located with a great view of meadows, fields, hills and valleys. We received a very warm welcome and were served in a friendly manner. The food tasted great. No matter if pumpkin soup, roast venison, young bull steak from regional beef or schnitzel Viennese style. There was also a small selection of dishes for our vegan company without any problems. Thank you for the hospitality and the delicious food! We would love to come back.

Found this inn by chance, and I would recommend everyone who is out and about in the region around Titisee-Neustadt to eat there. Price / performance ratio is great and the food was delicious. Beef comes from the region. Enclosed a photo of my meal. Roulade with cheese spaetzle. I have to especially highlight the great service, who tried very hard and was very friendly.

Simply good .... Have been visiting my old home for a long time and found great, regional cuisine in the Ahorn. A wonderfully good steak from their own herd. We couldn't resist and came back for a second meal on our weekend.

The two of us stayed at the Alpenblick holiday apartment for a week. The accommodation is great and the host Frank is extremely accommodating. The house is a little noisy, but not so much that it would disturb. We would love to come back.

Very tasty food. Friendly staff. Price, performance and quality are convincing. Restaurant is very nice and decorated with style. A must: also visit the toilets. This is a highlight for real "Black Forest village children".

We stayed for 1 week with our children in the very clean and nicely furnished apartment. In addition to the playground with a large sandpit and the very tasty restaurant, we felt very comfortable here, mainly because of the extraordinary hospitality! Brilliant place, food and service!

Nice apartment in a great location. The place stayed nice and cool in the summer, and has a lovely balcony with a great view. Perfect for a nature getaway with lots of forest to hike in, and the host is very helpful!

We stayed at Gasthaus Ahorn for five nights and we had a very nice, clean and comfortable apartment. Also the location ist perfect, If you like to have a quite place to stay and relax, but not far away from many sightseeing locations. Friendly personnel, excellent restaurant. If we are going to have another vacation in the black forrest, we will try to stay again here.

We (2 adults / 1 child) stayed in our summer vacation for 1 week. The hosts are super friendly and personable. We also received many tips for trips to the Black Forest. We had the apartment "Talblick", which has 2 separate bedrooms. The apartment is very cozy and modern. Everything was very clean and tidy. The region is ideal for families with small children. There are many hiking trails or bike tours especially for children. We also received a guest card (Hochschwarzwald-Card), which you can use to take the cable car free of charge or get entry in many places. In the Ahorn inn we also had dinner on the opening days (Fri. to Mon.). We can definitely recommend this. All the dishes on the menu were delicious. We can definitely recommend the Gasthaus Ahorn to 120%. Many thanks to Frank and Rainer Benz. Maybe you'll see each other again.

We booked a holiday apartment in the Gasthaus Ahorn and were therefore eating in the restaurant. We ate there three nights and loved every dish so it was hard to make a decision on the third evening. We had the cheese spaetzle, the schnitzel, the roulade, the shovel and the kohlrabi schnitzel. All dishes were very, very tasty. The salad that was there beforehand was a real treat. Delicious, fresh and not drowned in dressing. There were three of us eating there, with two of us prone to stomach problems because of the reaction to additives. We never had problems after meals on any evening, which is a clear sign that we are cooking very fresh, healthy and without unnecessary additives. Salt and pepper were always put on the table, so that you could spice up as you wanted. We found it very positive that the food was not overly seasoned and therefore also very enjoyable for children or people who like it low in salt. It could also be interesting for the men that every guest can order a reference for every dish. However, we didn't need it on any evening. We were very sad that we could not eat there all evenings. The ice cream is also highly recommended - we ate the walnut ice cream and the blueberry ice cream from a nearby farm. Both were a pleasure ... We can not understand the criticism of this restaurant and will recommend the food there. We are from Hamburg, so we probably won't be able to be there again in the near future. However, if it were closer to where we live, we would go there for a cozy evening in the sunshine and with delicious wine and very good food. I would also like to emphasize the special kindness of Frank and his colleague. They were always extremely friendly and helpful to all guests. We recommend the food, the atmosphere, the friendliness and the view of the valley and advise everyone to stop there.
